CPAST XXXX ? SEED SCIENCE
Course Description: This course deals with the basic principles and concepts of seed science and related topics. The biological characters, chemical components, dormancy and germination of seeds will be explored. Besides, seed quality testing and controls, seed storage, seed processing, and seed management will be discussed.
Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, students should:
1) Understand basic principles and concepts of seed science and related topics.
2) Be able to develop solutions to simple seed science problems.
3) Effectively communicate scientific knowledge related to seed science.
